CLA IS BACK FOR 2024

CLA 2024 is being held in Tallinn, Estonia in the The Estonian Academy of Security Sciences   with classes running Mon 15 - Fri 26 July 2024.

Situation

The annual Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers Language Academy (CLA) will be held over the period 15 Jul – 26 Aug 2024 at the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, Tallinn. The CLA delivers an annual two-week course in English and French language improvement (with a focus on military language). The course is open to Reserve and Regular Officers and Senior NCOs, with the STANAG exam available at the conclusion of the course to those deemed capable.

Applications

Applications. Anyone interested in attending the academy as a member of staff or as a student of English (EFL) or French (FFL), must complete the application form ‘Apply as Staff’ or ‘Apply as Participant’ found at the bottom of the website https://cior.net/activities/cior-languageacademy/ Applicants will be advised of whether they have secured a space on the course as soon as possible.

Costs

The cost (registration fee) of the two week course is €650 for Regular serving personnel and €550 for Reserve serving personnel. This fee covers all teaching, material, accommodation, feeding, and social activities. It does not include any travel to and from host nation. This fee must be paid via the payment link found on the website ONLY once the applicant has received confirmation that their application has been successful.
