In early January, French president Emmanuel Macron committed to provide the Ukrainian forces with French armor, and the 1981 AMX10RC will arrive within 2 months. They have seen action in the Gulf War, Afghanistan and Sahel, and are equipped with a 105mm gun and 7.62mm machine guns. Their 6 wheels give them high mobility, speed and long range. They are particularly fitted for reconnaissance and fire support.
