CLA 2025 will held in Sweden at the The Swedish Armed Forces International Centre with classes running Mon 14 - Fri 25 July 2025.Situation
The annual Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers Language Academy (CLA) will be held at the Swedish Armed Forces International Centre (SWEDINT), Kungsängen, Sweden. Classes will commence on Mon 14 Jul 25. Students must arrive NLT Sun 13 Jul 25. Staff must arrive NLT Sat 12 Jul 25. Departure for all attendees is on the 26th.The CLA delivers an annual two-week course in English and French language with a focus on operational military use to improve interoperability. The course is open to Reserve and Regular Officers and Senior NCOs, with the STANAG exam available for a separate fee at the conclusion of the course to those deemed capable.
Applications
The application form was opened on Mon 3 Feb 2025. On Sun 11 May the application form will be closed. Everyone interested in attending the academy, as staff or as a student, must have sent the application form. Applicants will be advised of whether they have secured a space on the course by Sun 1 Jun.Costs
The registration fee of €650 for Regulars and civilians working for MoD, €550 for Reservists covers all teaching, material, accommodation, feeding, and social activities. It does not include any travel to and from the course location. The accepted participants will be sent a link to a registration and payment form.
