CLA 2026 will be held in Salon de Provence, France at the Ecole de l'Air et de l'Espace with classes running Mon 20-Fri 31 July 2026.Situation
Each year, the Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers Language Academy (CLA) delivers a two-week English and French language course, with a focus on operational military use to improve interoperability. The course is open to Reserve and Regular Officers and to Senior NCOs. Participants have the option to obtain the Standartised Learning Profile NATO-Stanag 6001 certification if their language skills are deemed sufficient.The next CLA will be held at the Ecole de l'Air et de l'Espace, in Salon de Provence, France. Classes will commence on Mon 20 Jul 26. Students must arrive on Sun 19 Jul 26. Staff must arrive on Sat 18 Jul 26. Departure for all attendees is on Fri 31 Jul 26.
Applications
The application form is open until Sun 10 May 26. Anyone interested in attending the academy, as staff or as a student, must send the application form. Applicants will be advised whether they have secured a space on the course by Mon 1 Jun 26.Costs
Upon registration, participants must pay a fee: 750 € for reservists and 900 € for actives/regulars, which covers accommodation and feeding. There's no additional charge for the teaching, material or the SLP NATO-Stanag 6001 certification. Participants must arrange for their own travel to and from the course location.The accepted participants will be sent a link to a registration and payment form. ALL participants (staff and students) are required to pay this fee to confirm their place.
There is a limited number of scholarships that are allocated on a case by case basis. Participants who are covered by a scholarship should still fill in the application form. They will receive separate instructions on how to register once their application is successful.
