The CIOR Summer Congress 2023, organized by the Finnish Reserve Officers’ Federation, was awarded as the Security Deed of the Year at the FSA gala on November 9. The Finnish Security Awards (FSA) is an annual event organized by Turvallisuus & Riskienhaltanya magazine, where, among other things, meritorious operators in the security industry are rewarded.

A formal appreciation event was held at Mövenpick Hotel Tallinn, where the City of Tallinn and the Estonian Convention Bureau announced the recipient of the Conference Achievement of the Year award and recognized the most outstanding conferences held in Tallinn in 2024.
Reserve Officer Association of Ukraine joins CIOR as associate member
The Ukrainian Association of Reserve Officers and Veterans (UAROV) has been approved for associate membership in CIOR. This announcement comes during the annual Midwinter Meeting of CIOR.
Estonia's Victory Day celebrations in Estonia – Russia boarder town Narva.
On June 23, Estonia celebrates Victory Day – commemorating the key victory in the Battle of Võnnu in 1919 – with a nationwide parade held in a different city each year. The majority of the parade participants are reservists and volunteers from the Estonian Defense League.
CIOR President visited Kyiv to discuss Ukraine's membership in CIOR
CIOR President met with the Defence minister of Ukraine, Mr. Rustem Umerov, 22 March to discuss possible steps for Ukraine to become an associate member of CIOR.

On February 21st president of Estonia, Mr. Alar Karis awarded the Order of the Cross of the Eagle IV class to Major Andre Lilleleht, Secretary General of CIOR.
CIOR´s president invited Ukrainian reserve officers to join CIOR
Estonian Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur and CIOR´s president LTC Toomas Luman held a discussion with Ukrainian Minister of Defence Rustem Umerov this week and discussed help to Ukrainian forces as well as involvment of Ukrainina reservists in international co-operation.
