The 2024 Conference Achievement of the Year was granted to the CIOR/CIOMR/CISOR Summer Congress 2024
A formal appreciation event was held at Mövenpick Hotel Tallinn, where the City of Tallinn and the Estonian Convention Bureau announced the recipient of the Conference Achievement of the Year award and recognized the most outstanding conferences held in Tallinn in 2024.

The Ukrainian Association of Reserve Officers and Veterans (UAROV) has been approved for associate membership in CIOR. This announcement comes during the annual Midwinter Meeting of CIOR.
Estonia's Victory Day celebrations in Estonia – Russia boarder town Narva.
On June 23, Estonia celebrates Victory Day – commemorating the key victory in the Battle of Võnnu in 1919 – with a nationwide parade held in a different city each year. The majority of the parade participants are reservists and volunteers from the Estonian Defense League.

US Air Force looks to send reserve fighter pilots, air planners to Europe in response to the recent authorization to allow the call up of reservists in the inactive ready reserve (IRR) as apart from the drilling reservists that are routinely mobilized. Also, as noted, this will likely also be expanded to reservists in other services (e.g., Army, Marines, Navy).
