Early Bird Applications for the CLA 2026

The CIOR Language Academy will take place between 20 - 31 July 2026. This is a two week intensive English and French language course, focusing on military language, and fostering interoperability between NATO members.

Applications will close on 10 May 2026. 

Early bird applications will be processed sooner to allow participants to make their travel plans earlier. Early bird applications will close on Friday 24 April at 1100hrs.

Candidatures Anticipees pour la CLA 2026

L'Académie des Langues 2026 se tiendra à Salon de Provence, France. Les cours auront lieu du lundi 20 au vendredi 31 juillet 2026. Ce cours intensif de deux semaines en anglais et en français est axé sur l’utilisation opérationnelle des langues dans le but d’améliorer l’interopérabilité entre les membres de l'OTAN.

CIOR President met with Estonian Military Representative in NATO to discuses NATO's new Reserve Forces Policy

Following the Military Committee in Permanent Session on 25 Jan 24, it was agreed that IMS Policy & Capabilities (P&C) Division would initiate a project to revitalise the Alliance approach to Reserve and Reserve Forces. Initially, this will take the form of reinstating the NATO Policy on Reserves including a review of current MC documents related to affiliated Reserve organisations.
