Early Bird Applications for the CLA 2026
The CIOR Language Academy will take place between 20 - 31 July 2026. This is a two week intensive English and French language course, focusing on military language, and fostering interoperability between NATO members.

Applications will close on 10 May 2026.
Early bird applications will be processed sooner to allow participants to make their travel plans earlier. Early bird applications will close on Friday 24 April at 1100hrs.

Past CIOR President received highest military decoration from the President of the Republic of Estonia.

A formal appreciation event was held at Mövenpick Hotel Tallinn, where the City of Tallinn and the Estonian Convention Bureau announced the recipient of the Conference Achievement of the Year award and recognized the most outstanding conferences held in Tallinn in 2024.

On June 23, Estonia celebrates Victory Day – commemorating the key victory in the Battle of Võnnu in 1919 – with a nationwide parade held in a different city each year. The majority of the parade participants are reservists and volunteers from the Estonian Defense League.
CIOR President met with Estonian Military Representative in NATO to discuses NATO's new Reserve Forces Policy
Following the Military Committee in Permanent Session on 25 Jan 24, it was agreed that IMS Policy & Capabilities (P&C) Division would initiate a project to revitalise the Alliance approach to Reserve and Reserve Forces. Initially, this will take the form of reinstating the NATO Policy on Reserves including a review of current MC documents related to affiliated Reserve organisations.
